Fixed Income Expert and Financial Literacy Advocate Solomon Jalloh
A dedicated financial literacy advocate, Solomon Jalloh is an accomplished fixed income expert, who draws upon more than a decade of professional experience. A certified Business Professional Level speaker in Finance, Economics, and Banking, Solomon Jalloh previously served Zion Capital Ventures as a trustee, managing director, and partner.
In his role at Zion Capital Ventures Mr. Jalloh discharged his portfolio management responsibilities for numerous private leading investments. With experience in both buy side and sell side roles, he served as the organization’s primary trader, tasked with handling equities, high yield and distressed bonds, among other asset categories. Earlier, he was the CEO, Trustee, and Principal at the same company, where he also managed venture capital opportunities for its subsidiaries.
Before assuming his position at Zion Capital Ventures, Mr. Jalloh served as the Managing Partner and Project Manager at D&J REIS, where he provided leadership in many initiatives including residential developments and affordable housing. Among his first professional assignments was serving as a Research Analyst and A&R at California-based HK Enterprise Holdings. His duties included working closely with Infosys, a BPO service provider, to do account research, account reconciliations (AR), as well as coordinate credit and collection processes.
During his career, Solomon Jalloh has accomplished multiple milestones, including managing over $5 billion in assets. In addition, he’s a certified 13H-1 Large Trader and 30 under 30 Achievement Award winner in 2013, 2014, and 2021. In 2014, he won the Man of the Year award from The Nubia Foundation. Additionally, he won the 2014 Frontier Award with Association of Algorithmic and Quantitative Traders, and the 2013 Beacon Award with the Rothschild Group.
